Evariste Dudley Toulme was born in Shieldsboro on November 28, 1861, the fourth born and third son born to John Victor Toulme and his first wife Martha Carr. Evariste was a grandson of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great grandson of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the third great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary. Evariste died in Gulfport, Mississippi on March 1, 1934 at the age of seventy-two. Evariste was married a total of three times, first in 1887 at Marion, Illinois to Marie Louise Soulon. She was born in September of 1867 in Illinois and died in Gulfport, Mississippi on April 24, 1902 at age thirty-four. Evariste and Marie Louise had three sons, Clarence Victor, Robert Evariste, and Joseph Alcide Toulme. On February 24, 1903 Evariste, now forty-two years old, married his second wife twenty-two year old Elizabeth Carlson in New Orleans. Elizabeth was born in September of 1880 and died December 9, 1903 at age twenty-three. She was the daughter of Frederick Carlson of Norway and Pauline Stickinge of Louisiana. At the age of sixty-one he married this third and last wife Minnie Halfacle, the widow Marks, on October 27, 1923 in Gulfport, Mississippi. Minnie was born in Illinois on March 31, 1877 and died in Gulfport, Mississippi on November 18, 1955 at age seventy-eight. Minnie was the daughter of Aurin Halfacle and his wife Mary of Illinois. Evariste and his last two wives had no descendants.
Antoinette Toulme was born about 1865 in Shieldsboro, Mississippi. She was a daughter of John Victor Toulme and his first wife Martha Carr. Antoinette was a granddaughter of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the third great granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary. No additional information is known for Antoinette. It is possible she died at a young age in Shieldsboro, Mississippi.
Lucy Madeleine Toulme was born at Shieldsboro on June 17. 1867 and died at Biloxi, Mississippi on December 12, 1947 at age seventy-eight. She was a daughter of John Victor Toulme and his first wife Martha Carr. Antoinette was a granddaughter of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the third great granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary. Lucy, age twenty-six, married on December 14, 1893 at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, twenty-two year old Samuel Sterling Mitchell. He was born on November 18, 1871 and died on June 5, 1946. He was the son of James Mitchell and Mary Summers of Tennessee. Lucy and Samuel had seven children, Hazel Victoria, Gilbert Sterling, Ruth, Pearl, Samuel Sterling, Jr., Lucy and Ethel Theodora Mitchell.
John Mortimer Horace Toulme was the seventh born child and fourth born son of John Victor Toulme, he was the first born child and son with second wife Clementine Woodward. John was born on August 6, 1880 at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and died on October 15, 1949 in bluffs, Illinois at age forty-nine. John was a grandson of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great grandson of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the third great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. On May 20, 1902, twenty-one year old John married Margaret Donnelly at Marion, Illinois. Margaret was born on March 15, 1892 in Canada and died on January 29, 1969 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of eighty-six years. She was the daughter of John Thomas Donnelly of Springfield, Illinois and Ellen Theresa Sexton of Cork, Ireland. John was a Postal Carrier in the city of Springfield, Illinois for over 39 years. John and his wife Margaret had seven children, Donald, Ellen, Margaret Mary, Alice Ann, Francis Elizabeth, John Mortimer, Jr., and Martha Mary Toulme during their marriage. Sometime between 1930 and 1940 John and Margaret divorced and he married his second wife Lorena Placke, the widow of Louis Schone. Lorena was born February 15, 1898 and died on October 21, 1957 at age fifty-nine in Bluffs, Illinois. She was the daughter of Henry and Louisa Placke of Bluffs, Illinois. John, his second wife Lorena and her daughter Vera all share the same head stone in the family plot in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Bluffs, Illinois. John and Lorena had no children.
Horace Victor Toulme was born on October 2, 1882 at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and died on October 27, 1946 at Odin, Illinois at age sixty-three. He was the eight child born to John Victor Toulme and the second born and second son born to John and his second wife Clementine Woodward. Horace was a grandson of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great grandson of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the third great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Horace, age twenty-seven, married twenty-nine year old Cora Ann Hawley at Odin, Illinois on March 12, 1910. Cora was the widow of Ira Roberts and they had one daughter, Evelyn Roberts, who was raised by Horace Toulme. Cora, who was born in Odin. Illinois on February 12, 1881 was the daughter of David Hawley and Almira Coleman of Jefferson, Ohio and residents of Odin, Illinois. Cora died on December 21, 1957 at the age of seventy-five at Odin, Illinois. Horace and Cora Toulme had one daughter Madeline Ann Toulme born in Odin, Illinois.
Sylvia A. Toulme was born on January 26, 1884 at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and died on March 5, 1972 at Santa Monica, California at age eighty-eight. Sylvia was the ninth child born to John Victor Toulme and the first born daughter of John and his second wife Clementine Woodward. She was a granddaughter of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the third great granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Sylvia, age twenty-six, married twenty-seven year old Albert Alvin Gossard in Bisbee, Arizona on April 28, 1910. He was the son of Jefferson Gossard of Ohio and Martha Leeper of Illinois. Albert was born on February 4, 1883 at Fletcher, Nebraska and died on July 25, 1943 in Glendale, California at age sixty. Sylvia and Albert had two children, Albert Alvin, Jr., and Louise Toulme Gossard, both born in California.
Marie Ella Toulme was born at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi on June 30, 1886 and died there on May 24, 1887, at a little over ten months old. She was the tenth child born to John Victor Toulme and the second born daughter of John and his second wife Clementine Woodward. Marie was a granddaughter of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the 3rd great granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Marie was buried in the family plot in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

She married Henry Saucier, a cousin, on October 3, 1847 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church after they received a dispensation of 3rd degree consanguinity from the church for them to marry. The marriage in 1847 was actually the second marriage for Victorie and Henry as they had a civil marriage outside the Catholic Church some time earlier. Henry Saucier, the son of Francois Julien Saucier and his second wife Melitte Lavergne was born in New Orleans on June 8, 1808 and died at age eighty-five in Bay St. Louis on May 27, 1894. Victorie Toulme and Henry Saucier had six children, 3 daughters and three sons, John Henry Saucier, Evelina Victorie, Felix Valerian, Edouard Eugene, Claudus Eugene, Marie Uranie and Ida Delphine Saucier. They also raised three of their grandsons, Henry Stuart Saucier, the son of their oldest child, John Henry Saucier, James Breath and Anthony Breath, both the sons of their first daughter, Eveline Victorie Saucier and her husband Charles Breath.

John Henry married Mary Stuart McCorry at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Shieldsboro, Mississippi on October 3, 1847. Mary was the daughter of Harry Stuart McCorry, a native of Scotland and Mary Josephine McGrady, a native of Ireland and residents of Shieldsboro, Mississippi. Mary Stuart McCorry was born in New Orleans in 1850 and died at Shieldsboro on January 1, 1874 at age twenty-four. John Henry, a former Confederate Soldier during the Civil War, resided in the Old Soldiers Home at The Jefferson Davis home, Beauvoir, in Biloxi. He entered the home on July 3, 1928 died in the home on March 13, 1929. He and Mary had two children, Harry Stuart and Mary Alezia Charlotte Saucier. Both John Henry and Mary were buried in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

Felix Valerian Saucier was born in Shieldsboro, Mississippi on November 23, 1851 and died in New Orleans on October 20, 1940 at the age of eighty-eight. He was the third child and second born son of Victorie Saucier and Henry Saucier of Shieldsboro, Mississippi (Bay St. Louis). Since his parents were double cousins, Felix on his father’s side was the grandson of Francois Julien Saucier and Melitte Levergne, great grandson of Henry Marie Saucier and Marie Francois Rouseve. He was a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and his third great grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Marie was born on August 15, 1862 and died at age fifty-two on June 6, 1916 at New Orleans. She was the daughter of Joseph Clavier of New Orleans and Elenor Ballejo of Florida. Felix and Marie had two children, Felix Ballejo, and Eleanor Victoria Saucier.
Edouard Eugene Saucier, the fourth born child and third son of Victorie Saucier and Henry Saucier of Shieldsboro, Mississippi (Bay St. Louis) was born on October 23, 1853 at Shieldsboro (Bay St. Louis), Mississippi and he died on June 14, 1929 at New Orleans. With his parents being double cousins, Edouard on his father’s side was the grandson of Francois Julien Saucier and Melitte Levergne, great grandson of Henry Marie Saucier and Marie Francois Rouseve. He was a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and his third great grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Mathilda, born on October 5, 1854 in New Orleans was the daughter of Antoine Tudury of Spain and Catherine Lux of Germany. Edouard and Mathilda had seven children before her death in about 1888 at Shieldsboro, they were Edward Pierre, Sidney Joseph, Walter Eugene, Catherine Edwina, Nary Joseph, Julius Lawrence and Thelma Saucier. Edward’s second marriage, at age forty-two, on March 3, 1896 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Shieldsboro was to thirty-three year old Eugenie Josephine Hote of New Orleans. She was the daughter of Marie Joseph Hote of France and Marie Josephine Lefevre of New Orleans. Eugenie Josephine Hote was born in September of 1862 in New Orleans and died on November 18, 1941 at New Orleans. Edouard and his second wife Eugenie had three children, Bella Marie, Elmer Mellon, and Melborne Edma Saucier.
Claudus Eugene Saucier, the fifth born child and fourth son of Victorie Saucier and Henry Saucier of Shieldsboro, Mississippi (Bay St. Louis). He was born in Shieldsboro, Mississippi on September 13, 1856 and died there on May 12, 1916 at the age of fifty-nine. With his parents being double cousins, Claudus on his father’s side was the grandson of Francois Julien Saucier and Melitte Levergne, great grandson of Henry Marie Saucier and Marie Francois Rouseve. Claudus was a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and his third great grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Since her parents were double cousins, Since Ida’s parents were double cousins, Ida on her father’s side was the granddaughter of Francois Julien Saucier and Melitte Levergne, great granddaughter of Henry Marie Saucier and Marie Francois Rouseve. She was a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and her third great grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Ida’s grandparents on her mother’s side were Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise, her great grandparents were Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and her great great-grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary. On December 30, 1884, at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Shieldsboro, she married twenty-seven-year-old Peter B. Tudury, the brother-in-law of her brother Edouard Saucier who had married Peter’s sister Mathilde Philomena Tudury. Peter was born on November 19, 1857 at Shieldsboro (Bay St. Louis), Mississippi and died there on November 9, 1938, at age eighty. Peter was the son of Antoine Tudury of Spain and Catherine Lux of Germany. Ida and Peter had eight children, Henry Jetton, Rita Catherine, Clarence Anthony, Theodore James, Victor Joseph, Harold Alphonse, Lillian Marie and Stella Marie Tudury.

She was born on March 8, 1831, in New Orleans and died on March 8, 1873, in Montreal, Canada at the age of forty-two. Marie was a granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and a great great-granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary, early pioneers of Colonial Mobile. She married Louis Auguste Antoine Girard at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church on November 21, 1855, at Shieldsboro, Mississippi. Louis was born on December 14, 1828, in Marseille, France and died at the age of seventy on July 2, 1906, in Montreal, Canada. He was the son of Jean Dominique Girard and Marie Genevieve Julien of Pertuis, France. In 1846, before their first child was born, they followed in the tradition of the Girard family, and returned to France for the birth of their first child and daughter, Marie Louise, who was born in Marseille, France. After their daughter Marie Louise's birth, they returned to New Orleans and their residence. Marie Virginia and her husband Louis Auguste Girard eventually moved from New Orleans to Boston, Massachusetts and then moved to Montreal, Canada in 1860, where they resided for the remainder of their lives. They had eight children, according to a family member, Marie Louise, who was born in France, Joseph Auguste and Henri Jean, both born in Louisiana, the following children were born either in Boston or Montreal, Eugene, Bertha Madeline, Blanche Elizabeth and Eugenie Giard, name of the eighth child is unknown, records show only seven. In her Will, written in French, which was Probated at New Orleans on February 21, 1874, it lists her as a resident of Montreal, Canada and lists her name as Dame Marie Virginie Toulme.
Marie Louise Girard first born daughter of Marie Virginia Toulme and Louis Auguste Antoine Girard of Shieldsboro, Mississippi (Bay St. Louis). She was born in Marseille, France in 1856. She moved from New Orleans to Boston and in 1860 to Canada with her family. Her death date is not known. She was a granddaughter of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme. Marie was the great granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and a third great-granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary, early pioneers of Colonial Mobile. Henri, age twenty-six, married Marie Blanche Voligny, age nineteen, on June 26, 1886, at Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Marie was born in Quebec, Canada in May of 1867, her death date is unknown. She was the daughter of Louis Bethleem Voligny and Sophie Emma Cadieux, both of Quebec, Canada. Henri and Marie had nine children, all born in and residents of Quebec, Maurice, Paul, Yolande, Berthe, Pauline, Ludovic, Simone, and Fernando Girard.

John was a grandson of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great grandson of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the third great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. On May 20, 1902, twenty-one year old John married Margaret Donnelly at Marion, Illinois. Margaret was born on March 15, 1892 in Canada and died on January 29, 1969 at St. Louis, Missouri at the age of eighty-six years. She was the daughter of John Thomas Donnelly of Springfield, Illinois and Ellen Theresa Sexton of Cork, Ireland. John was a Postal Carrier in the city of Springfield, Illinois for over 39 years. John and his wife Margaret had seven children, Donald, Ellen, Margaret Mary, Alice Ann, Francis Elizabeth, John Mortimer, Jr., and Martha Mary Toulme during their marriage. Sometime between 1930 and 1940 John and Margaret divorced and he married his second wife Lorena Placke, the widow of Louis Schone. Lorena was born February 15, 1898 and died on October 21, 1957 at age fifty-nine in Bluffs, Illinois. She was the daughter of Henry and Louisa Placke of Bluffs, Illinois. John, his second wife Lorena and her daughter Vera all share the same head stone in the family plot in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Bluffs, Illinois. John and Lorena had no children.
Horace Victor Toulme was born on October 2, 1882 at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and died on October 27, 1946 at Odin, Illinois at age sixty-three. He was the eight child born to John Victor Toulme and the second born and second son born to John and his second wife Clementine Woodward. Horace was a grandson of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great grandson of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the third great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Horace, age twenty-seven, married twenty-nine year old Cora Ann Hawley at Odin, Illinois on March 12, 1910. Cora was the widow of Ira Roberts and they had one daughter, Evelyn Roberts, who was raised by Horace Toulme. Cora, who was born in Odin. Illinois on February 12, 1881 was the daughter of David Hawley and Almira Coleman of Jefferson, Ohio and residents of Odin, Illinois. Cora died on December 21, 1957 at the age of seventy-five at Odin, Illinois. Horace and Cora Toulme had one daughter Madeline Ann Toulme born in Odin, Illinois.
Sylvia A. Toulme was born on January 26, 1884 at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and died on March 5, 1972 at Santa Monica, California at age eighty-eight. Sylvia was the ninth child born to John Victor Toulme and the first born daughter of John and his second wife Clementine Woodward. She was a granddaughter of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the third great granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Sylvia, age twenty-six, married twenty-seven year old Albert Alvin Gossard in Bisbee, Arizona on April 28, 1910. He was the son of Jefferson Gossard of Ohio and Martha Leeper of Illinois. Albert was born on February 4, 1883 at Fletcher, Nebraska and died on July 25, 1943 in Glendale, California at age sixty. Sylvia and Albert had two children, Albert Alvin, Jr., and Louise Toulme Gossard, both born in California.
Marie Ella Toulme was born at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi on June 30, 1886 and died there on May 24, 1887, at a little over ten months old. She was the tenth child born to John Victor Toulme and the second born daughter of John and his second wife Clementine Woodward. Marie was a granddaughter of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme, a great granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and the 3rd great granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Marie was buried in the family plot in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
Victorie Toulme was the fourth born child and third daughter of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme. Victorie was born at Shieldsboro in 1830 and died on February 16, 1895 at age sixty-five in Bay St. Louis. She was a granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and a great great-granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary, early pioneers of Colonial Mobile. She married Henry Saucier, a cousin, on October 3, 1847 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church after they received a dispensation of 3rd degree consanguinity from the church for them to marry. The marriage in 1847 was actually the second marriage for Victorie and Henry as they had a civil marriage outside the Catholic Church some time earlier. Henry Saucier, the son of Francois Julien Saucier and his second wife Melitte Lavergne was born in New Orleans on June 8, 1808 and died at age eighty-five in Bay St. Louis on May 27, 1894. Victorie Toulme and Henry Saucier had six children, 3 daughters and three sons, John Henry Saucier, Evelina Victorie, Felix Valerian, Edouard Eugene, Claudus Eugene, Marie Uranie and Ida Delphine Saucier. They also raised three of their grandsons, Henry Stuart Saucier, the son of their oldest child, John Henry Saucier, James Breath and Anthony Breath, both the sons of their first daughter, Eveline Victorie Saucier and her husband Charles Breath.

John Henry married Mary Stuart McCorry at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Shieldsboro, Mississippi on October 3, 1847. Mary was the daughter of Harry Stuart McCorry, a native of Scotland and Mary Josephine McGrady, a native of Ireland and residents of Shieldsboro, Mississippi. Mary Stuart McCorry was born in New Orleans in 1850 and died at Shieldsboro on January 1, 1874 at age twenty-four. John Henry, a former Confederate Soldier during the Civil War, resided in the Old Soldiers Home at The Jefferson Davis home, Beauvoir, in Biloxi. He entered the home on July 3, 1928 died in the home on March 13, 1929. He and Mary had two children, Harry Stuart and Mary Alezia Charlotte Saucier. Both John Henry and Mary were buried in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
Evelina Victoria Saucier was born in Shieldsboro on December 12, 1849 and died there in 1919 at the age of seventy. She was the second child and first daughter born to Victorie Saucier and Henry Saucier of Shieldsboro, Mississippi (Bay St. Louis). Since Evelina’s parents were double cousins, Evelina on her father’s side was the granddaughter of Francois Julien Saucier and Melitte Levergne, great granddaughter of Henry Marie Saucier and Marie Francois Rouseve and Evelina was a great great-granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and her third great grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Evelina, age twenty-four, married her thirty-one year old cousin Charles Breath at Shieldsboro on June 22, 1874. Charles was born in 1843 at Shieldsboro, Mississippi and died in New York on September 19, 1878 at age thirty-five. There were two children born to Evelina and Charles, sons, Charles Quick, and James Henry Breath.
Felix Valerian Saucier was born in Shieldsboro, Mississippi on November 23, 1851 and died in New Orleans on October 20, 1940 at the age of eighty-eight. He was the third child and second born son of Victorie Saucier and Henry Saucier of Shieldsboro, Mississippi (Bay St. Louis). Since his parents were double cousins, Felix on his father’s side was the grandson of Francois Julien Saucier and Melitte Levergne, great grandson of Henry Marie Saucier and Marie Francois Rouseve. He was a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and his third great grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Felix’s grandparents on his mother’s side were Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise, his great grandparents were Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and his great great-grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary. Felix, age twenty-eight, married sixteen year old Marie Amelia Clavier of New Orleans in 1879 at New Orleans. Marie was born on August 15, 1862 and died at age fifty-two on June 6, 1916 at New Orleans. She was the daughter of Joseph Clavier of New Orleans and Elenor Ballejo of Florida. Felix and Marie had two children, Felix Ballejo, and Eleanor Victoria Saucier.
Edouard Eugene Saucier, the fourth born child and third son of Victorie Saucier and Henry Saucier of Shieldsboro, Mississippi (Bay St. Louis) was born on October 23, 1853 at Shieldsboro (Bay St. Louis), Mississippi and he died on June 14, 1929 at New Orleans. With his parents being double cousins, Edouard on his father’s side was the grandson of Francois Julien Saucier and Melitte Levergne, great grandson of Henry Marie Saucier and Marie Francois Rouseve. He was a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and his third great grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Edouard’s grandparents on his mother’s side were Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise, his great grandparents were Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and his great great-grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary. Edouard Saucier was married twice. His first marriage was to eighteen year old Mathilde Philomena Tudury on May 28, 1873 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Shieldsboro when he was age nineteen. Mathilda, born on October 5, 1854 in New Orleans was the daughter of Antoine Tudury of Spain and Catherine Lux of Germany. Edouard and Mathilda had seven children before her death in about 1888 at Shieldsboro, they were Edward Pierre, Sidney Joseph, Walter Eugene, Catherine Edwina, Nary Joseph, Julius Lawrence and Thelma Saucier. Edward’s second marriage, at age forty-two, on March 3, 1896 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Shieldsboro was to thirty-three year old Eugenie Josephine Hote of New Orleans. She was the daughter of Marie Joseph Hote of France and Marie Josephine Lefevre of New Orleans. Eugenie Josephine Hote was born in September of 1862 in New Orleans and died on November 18, 1941 at New Orleans. Edouard and his second wife Eugenie had three children, Bella Marie, Elmer Mellon, and Melborne Edma Saucier.
Claudus Eugene Saucier, the fifth born child and fourth son of Victorie Saucier and Henry Saucier of Shieldsboro, Mississippi (Bay St. Louis). He was born in Shieldsboro, Mississippi on September 13, 1856 and died there on May 12, 1916 at the age of fifty-nine. With his parents being double cousins, Claudus on his father’s side was the grandson of Francois Julien Saucier and Melitte Levergne, great grandson of Henry Marie Saucier and Marie Francois Rouseve. Claudus was a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and his third great grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. She was born at Shieldsboro, Mississippi on December 25, 1865, and died there on September 3, 1963, at age ninety-seven. Since her parents were double cousins, Since Ida’s parents were double cousins, Ida on her father’s side was the granddaughter of Francois Julien Saucier and Melitte Levergne, great granddaughter of Henry Marie Saucier and Marie Francois Rouseve. She was a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and her third great grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary of Colonial Mobile. Ida’s grandparents on her mother’s side were Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise, her great grandparents were Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and her great great-grandparents were Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary. On December 30, 1884, at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Shieldsboro, she married twenty-seven-year-old Peter B. Tudury, the brother-in-law of her brother Edouard Saucier who had married Peter’s sister Mathilde Philomena Tudury. Peter was born on November 19, 1857 at Shieldsboro (Bay St. Louis), Mississippi and died there on November 9, 1938, at age eighty. Peter was the son of Antoine Tudury of Spain and Catherine Lux of Germany. Ida and Peter had eight children, Henry Jetton, Rita Catherine, Clarence Anthony, Theodore James, Victor Joseph, Harold Alphonse, Lillian Marie and Stella Marie Tudury.
Marie Virginia Toulme was the eight child and fifth daughter born to Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme. She was born on March 8, 1831, in New Orleans and died on March 8, 1873, in Montreal, Canada at the age of forty-two. Marie was a granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and a great great-granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary, early pioneers of Colonial Mobile. She married Louis Auguste Antoine Girard at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church on November 21, 1855, at Shieldsboro, Mississippi. Louis was born on December 14, 1828, in Marseille, France and died at the age of seventy on July 2, 1906, in Montreal, Canada. He was the son of Jean Dominique Girard and Marie Genevieve Julien of Pertuis, France. In 1846, before their first child was born, they followed in the tradition of the Girard family, and returned to France for the birth of their first child and daughter, Marie Louise, who was born in Marseille, France. After their daughter Marie Louise's birth, they returned to New Orleans and their residence. Marie Virginia and her husband Louis Auguste Girard eventually moved from New Orleans to Boston, Massachusetts and then moved to Montreal, Canada in 1860, where they resided for the remainder of their lives. They had eight children, according to a family member, Marie Louise, who was born in France, Joseph Auguste and Henri Jean, both born in Louisiana, the following children were born either in Boston or Montreal, Eugene, Bertha Madeline, Blanche Elizabeth and Eugenie Giard, name of the eighth child is unknown, records show only seven. In her Will, written in French, which was Probated at New Orleans on February 21, 1874, it lists her as a resident of Montreal, Canada and lists her name as Dame Marie Virginie Toulme.

She moved from New Orleans to Boston and in 1860 to Canada with her family. Her death date is not known. She was a granddaughter of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme. Marie was the great granddaughter of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-granddaughter of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and a third great-granddaughter of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary, early pioneers of Colonial Mobile. Henri died in Canada on July 4, 1938 at the age of seventy-eight. Henry was a grandson of Victoria Uranie Saucier and John Baptiste Toulme and he was the great grandson of Philippe Saucier and Mary Louise Nicaise of Pass Christian, a great great-grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix and a third great-grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary, early pioneers of Colonial Mobile. Henri, age twenty-six, married Marie Blanche Voligny, age nineteen, on June 26, 1886, at Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Marie was born in Quebec, Canada in May of 1867, her death date is unknown. She was the daughter of Louis Bethleem Voligny and Sophie Emma Cadieux, both of Quebec, Canada. Henri and Marie had nine children, all born in and residents of Quebec, Maurice, Paul, Yolande, Berthe, Pauline, Ludovic, Simone, and Fernando Girard.
Auguste Joseph Girard was the third child and second son born to Marie Virginia Toulme and Louis Auguste Antoine Girard of Shieldsboro, Mississippi (Bay St. Louis).
