Lucius also operated Lucius Saucier's General Store in Saucier, Mississippi and in 1903 he made an unsuccessful run for Sheriff of Harrison County, losing to Florian Seal. Annelise served as Post Master and postal clerk until 1904 when another family member was then appointed to the position. After her term as Postmaster had expired, Annelise was employed as a saleslady by the Hewes Brothers Store in downtown Gulfport until February of 1919 at which time she retired due to declining health. Soon Annelise was bed ridden and her health continually worsened. She succumbed to Tuberculosis on April 25, 1919 as her husband before her. Lucius and Annelise had three sons during their marriage, Lucius Nolan, Jr., Thomas Bernard, and Earl Nolan Saucier. Only one son, Earl Nolan, survived Lucius and Annelise and lived to adulthood. In her will dated March 12, 1919, written shortly before her death she left her son Earl, then about fourteen years of age, in the care of her sister-in-law Donna Knowles, naming her as Earl Nolan's guardian. All property that Donna possessed in the town of Saucier was left to Earl Nolan at her death in 1919.
Theodosia Clementine Saucier, known as "Dosia", seventh child and fifth daughter of Samuel Bernard Saucier and Martha Ann Moore was born on December 14, 1878 and died on January 27, 1920 at age forty-one. Since the death of his mother, Martha Ann Moore Saucier, Ephraim and Nancy had been living on the old homestead at Saucier in the large original home that his father Samuel Bernard Saucier had built many years ago. On Saturday October 6, 1935 an afternoon fire completely destroyed the old home. Ephraim and his family escaped with no injuries and with only the clothes they were wearing. Ephraim Talmadge Saucier was well known and respected throughout the State of Mississippi and the entire Gulf Coast. Ephraim had served as the state game and fish warden for thirty-six years, having begun his service with the state in 1917. Ephraim Talmadge served under the administrations of six different governors When Ephraim retired, at age sixty-five, he was awarded by Governor Hugh L. White the very first "lifetime" commission the State of Mississippi had ever issued, making him a lifetime honorary deputy game warden for the State of Mississippi. In 1965, after the death of Ephraim, a tribute article in a column of the local newspaper called "Outdoors along the Coast" by Dudley Heliger, Mr. Heliger made the following statement in his weekly column, "He believed that education on Conservation was much more important than the arrest of the law violator and his life pointed in that direction". Mr. Heliger who was a friend of Ephraim's also made the statement at the conclusion of his article, "I wish I had written this when he was alive and could have read it". Ephraim and Nancy had three children during their marriage, Bernice, Helena Christine, and Bernard Talmadge Saucier.
Jean Pierre Saucier, born in Delisle on September 3, 1836, seems to be an eleventh child born to Pierre Phillip and Isabelle Nicaise Saucier. His birth date is shortly before the death of Isabelle from the snake bite in 1836. The only information found on Jean Pierre is that his wife’s name was Elizabeth and the name of one child, a son, named Eli Saucier. Jean Pierre was a grandson of Philippe Saucier and Ursula Grelot, great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Pelagie Tixerand, second great grandson of Henri Saucier and Barbe LaCroix, and a third great grandson of Jean Baptiste Saucier and Gabrielle Savary. No additional information, including death dates are known at this time. He was not listed as an heir in the final will after the death of Pierre, but some of Pierre’s children were left only “five dollars” each for some reason, so one wonders about Jean Pierre and why nothing is found on him and what happened to him and his family.
Pierre Phillip Saucier and Martha Ann Smith, his second wife, had two sons during their marriage, according to researcher Walter Joseph Saucier, the author of "Gabrielle’s People" and "A Family of French Colonial America, Saucier", both about the early Saucier family. Those two sons were Jean Baptiste Hilaire Saucier, and Jean Jacques Saucier.
Jean Baptiste Hilarie Saucier was the twelfth child of Pierre Phillip Saucier. He was the first child born to Pierre Saucier and his second wife Martha Ann Moore. No mention of him is found in the will of Pierre that was probated in 1874 which leaves many questions as to why he was left out completely.

No mention of him is found in the will of Pierre that was probated in 1874 which leaves many questions as to why he was left out completely.
No further information or records are found on Jean Jacques or Jean Pierre, these two sons seem to have just vanished. It is possible they did not survive as neither they nor Jean Baptist Hilaire were listed as heirs in Pierre’s will of 1874. All total Pierre Phillip, between his two first wives, had a total of thirteen children, but many researchers list or show only the ten children born to Pierre and his first wife Isabelle, but due to the baptism records at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, we know there were three other children.

All total Pierre Phillip, between his two first wives, had a total of thirteen children, but many researchers list or show only the ten children born to Pierre and his first wife Isabelle, but due to the baptism records at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, we know there were three other children.
